Handing your pattern to a new (to you) tech editor is in some ways like handing your brand new baby to a stranger. Nin made the process painless and treated my patterns the way anyone would want their new baby treated. She made sure the pattern was consistent and got it back to me much sooner than promised. She not only checked the mechanics of the pattern but the esthetics and offered suggestions on how to make it be just that touch above good, to better.
